The #New library Barris is situated at one of the parts of the ancient Mental Institute of the Saint Cross , that founded the doctor Pi and Molist the 1889. The edifice of the Mental Institute of the Saint Cross was designed by the architect Josep Oriol and Bernadet from the project of the Dr. Pi and Molist. Once ended, the dimensions of the complex were impressive: 700 metres of #long for 200 of #broad, comparable at stretch in the Palau of Versailles. It was formed by twelve isolated booths, perpendiculars at two crugies parallel enter aye, with extensive hemicycles at the two wingers, and counted even with a church. Around a central module articulated the two wings, that housed a general department for each sex.
