The Can Puiggener Library, as an extension of the central urban library, offers a proximity library service to the neighborhood (located in the 2nd district). The library -originally opened in 1972 and then renovated in 1991- is the oldest in the entire city of Sabadell and serves a potential population of approximately 6,500 people. Its total built area is 350 m², making it not only the oldest but also the smallest one. It is a cultural facility that goes beyond the traditional duties of a public library and effectively acts as an inclusive place to cater to a broad audience from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
